A MOVIE Of Cade's First Wild Pig Hunt!

It was no big suprise when the seven year old Grandson Cade informed his Daddy that this summer he wanted to WHACK A WILD PIG and later in the Fall it was a Deer's Turn. Seems that Whack'n Ducks since he was three and a heavy dose of The Outdoor Channel was get'n to this youngster. This was evidenced by the condition that he wanted at least the Pig Hunt to be a SPOT AND STALK FAIR CHASE HUNT! Hell neither his Daddy or I really even knew what that MEANT. We did know how to transfer him from his New England Arms Single Shot .410 Youth Model Shotgun to his Rossi .223 Youth Model Rifle but other than that neither of us had ever hunted Wild Pig. BLASTS From The Past!

Some old pics taken BEFORE DIGITAL CAMERAS were even out! Lots of Good Guys, Good Kids , Good Dogs, Good Guns, Good Boats and DEAD DUCKS! Some of the guys and dogs are now OUTTA HERE while those that are left are a bit HEAVIER and WISER. All the kids are now either GROWN or DAM NEAR GROWN BUT they have not forgotten US ENTIRELY! Most all of the dogs are still with us but they have pretty much retired and turned it over to the YOUNGER ones. Most of the boats have been replaced by newer and larger shoot'n platforms. We take introducing not only OUR KIDS and GRANDKIDS to The Sport of Kings but also most ANY KID that wants to give it a go! Nothing makes an Old Duck Whacker prouder than to see pics of DEM DUCK HUNT'N KIDS IN ACTION! START'EM OUT YOUNG and IT WILL PAY OFF IN THE LONG RUN!

In Memory Of Wayne

This is just for pics of a good buddy that left us way too early! Wayne Martin and I worked together for over 25 years. We also took to hunt'n together several years ago. I retired ahead of him and he was within a year when he passed away. He was truly a fine man, father and hunt'n buddy. I miss Wayne to this day and think about him almost as often.

I see DEAD DUCKS!

Don't know if it's POLITICALLY CORRECT or NOT to have pics of DEAD DUCKS HANG'N OFF'N YOUR CARCASS CARRIER or LAY'N BOUT ON THE GROUND but nothing says as much to dem SERIOUS DUCK WHACKERS than just that. Feel free to post up some pics of Dem Duck YOU MADE DEAD cause everyone on this deal WILL APPRECIATE IT!

It's...MILLET TIME...2008 !

Prior to the Big Drougth we was plant'n Mud Flats and Exposed Shorelines with Jap Millet. We could tell that these efforts PAID OFF as it applies to not only ATTRACT'N and HOLD'N more ducks but also we was KILL'N MORE DUCKS! And afterall DAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT! This is the first time in a few years that conditions were right for us to pick up and PLANT DAT MILLET!
