The Early Teal Season was a bit of a BUST or at least was not up to the standards of The Old Fart Duck Whackers Club! But it was just one in a long list of Early Teal Seasons that were better than most so whose CRY'N OVER SPILT MILK!And , THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR even though most of us is get'n a bit LONG IN DA TOOTH.

Just got home from our Yearly Pilgrimage up into No Man's Land to WHACK DEM BIG DUCKS. The season opens up there well before Zone 1 and Zone 2. Been go'n up there for about 15 years straight and shoot'n up da Lil Jewel. Lots of pics up on the Hunting Forum. Also been get'n pics and reports from a few guys and it seems everyone is GET'N SOME!

Get'n reports on a few of the Young Gun Dog Prospects that spent thier summer get'n Trained UP in order to start thier quest to attain actual GUN DOG STATUS and TITLE! The OrthoKid took his young Yeller Dog Colby out on a Zone 1 Shoot and Ruby made her First Real Deal Retieve up in No Man's Land. Ruby got several hunts and retrieves in and it looks like I GOT ME A REAL PLAYER.

With everything in readiness for Zone 2 and that being The Millet we planted back in August is UP and the Permanent Blinds blown down in the Spring Storms are back up. All the gear has been dusted off and gone thru the Tune Up Hunts in No Man's Land. What broke is now replaced or fixed. We will full in the week till Zone 2 Opener with a few hunts up on Da Big CantonMent. Waited till after this week end as there will be a BIG CROWD there. Me and BigBob is again fire'n up BigBob's Duck Grinder and will camp out in an area on the lake that has Water, Electricity and Sewage Hook Ups. Just LIKE BE'N AT HOME....EAT , SLEEP , SHOOT DUCKS!Can't wait as WE LOVE DEM BOAT HUNTS!

Can't believe we already got NINETEEN Duck Hunts " in da books " and Zone 2 ain't even opened up! Gonna make a run at between 80 and 90 Total Hunts but who knows what's gonna happen. Picked up some new spots just down the road and added them to our PRIVATES that we will spend most of the rest of the season on. These last ones brought our total up to almost FIFTY SPOTS with about half of those actually being what one could consider GOOD DUCK SPOTS! We will make a couple of Road Trips as the season progresses. We will run down to Hunt with Machine in SE Oklahoma and will make a Hunt up on Forteous Cobeous when Windy and FirstBornSon come up from SE Tejas!

We also expect returns home from those that live as far away as California and Alaska. Even got The Cajun Clan come'n back from the Belle Chase area of Louisiana and a couple of kinfolks from Missouri. So, we're gonna be BUSY as HELL...CHASE'N and WHACK'N DEM DUCKS
